A Community Engagement Challenge from Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson

Strong communities are built when neighbors stay informed, involved, and invested in the future of Northwest Illinois.

As part of my campaign for Illinois State Senate, Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson is inviting members of our community to take part in a fun civic engagement challenge that will also give back to our local classrooms.

Participants are invited to submit their best guess for the total number of votes Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson will receive in the March 17, 2026 election for Illinois State Senate District 45.

The participant whose guess is closest to the final certified vote total will win the opportunity to designate a public school classroom located within District 45 to receive a $450 classroom support donation made personally by Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson.

No matter the outcome of the election, a classroom in District 45 will benefit.

How to Enter

To participate, submit the above entry form:

• Your name
• Your email address, phone number, address
• Your guess for the total number of votes Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson will receive in the March 17, 2026 election
• The name of the District 45 classroom or teacher you would like the donation to support if you win

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Classroom Support Donation

The winner will designate a public school classroom located within Illinois State Senate District 45 to receive a $450 classroom support donation.

The donation will be made personally by Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson after the official election results are certified.

The donation will be delivered through the school or school district administration for the benefit of the selected classroom.

No money or prize will be given directly to the contest participant.

Official Contest Rules

1. No Purchase or Voting Required

No purchase, donation, political support, or voting is required to enter or win.

Participation in this contest does not require voting and will not influence election outcomes.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Participants do not need to be registered voters or residents of Illinois.

3. Entry Deadline

Entries must be submitted before polls close on Election Day, March 17, 2026.

4. Winner Determination

The winner will be the participant whose guess is closest to the final certified vote total received by Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson in the Illinois State Senate District 45 race.

If multiple entries are equally close, the winner will be selected through a random drawing among the tied entries.

5. Classroom Selection

The winner may designate a public school classroom or teacher located within Illinois Senate District 45 to receive the donation.

6. Donation Delivery

The $450 classroom support donation will be made personally by Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson and delivered through the school or school district administration, or through an affiliated education foundation where appropriate.

7. Prize Conditions

No cash prize will be awarded to any participant. The donation will only be made to support the selected classroom.

8. Promotion Disclaimer

This promotion is conducted independently by Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any election authority, school district, or government entity.

9. Contest Integrity

Republican Write-In Candidate Joshua T. Atkinson reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, duplicate, automated, or otherwise violate the rules of the contest.

Why I’m Doing This

Teachers and classrooms across District 45 play an important role in shaping the next generation of leaders in Northwest Illinois.

This challenge is simply a way to encourage community participation while also giving back to the classrooms that serve our students every day.

Regardless of the election results, a classroom in District 45 will receive support.
